Washington County Fair
Notes
In 2006, the Washington Conservation District and Master Gardeners teamed up to plant four demonstration raingardens outside one of the exhibit buildings at the fairgrounds. One garden is planted with traditional garden perennials, one with shrubs, and two with native Minnesota plants. Although one of the native gardens was planted with plugs (tiny plants) and one with 4" and 6" pots, both are equally lush three years later.
