Reduce Your Lawn Impacts (Extreme Green Qualifying Event) Adults Learn about low impact lawn care from University of Minnesota Horticulture Extension educator Bob Mugaas who has evaluated alternative turf grasses and natural organic products for home use. He is actively involved in education about lawn issues such as sustainability, natural lawns, chemical and non-chemical weed control and lawn care practices for protecting water quality. His presentation will focus on ways to maintain lawn with minimum use of fertilizers and chemicals, and give you some ideas for reducing normal turf with some no-mow options. From I-94 take Century Ave. exit north, and travel 1 1/4 miles to E. 7th Street. Turn left on E. 7th St. at the Maplewood Nture Center sign.
From I-694 take 10th St. exit, travel west 1 1/4 miles to Century Ave. Turn right on Century Ave. and proceed for one block. Turn left on East 7th Street at Maplewood Nature Center sign.
