Learn landscaping best management practices for reducing stormwater runoff. For landscape designers and contractors, city/county/state employees and concerned citizens interested in learning how to reduce stormwater runoff by installing raingardens and native plants, trees, permeable pavers, rain barrels and the RainXchange rainwater harvesting system. Features presentation by industry experts and a case study on Silverwood Park (Three Rivers) that shows all of these practices working together. Learn about the first ever Blue Community Makeover(TM) happening in a south Minneapolis neighborhood this June and how you can create a Blue Community Makeover in your area. Qualifies for 1 Learning Unit (1 LU) with AIA and 4 MNLA recertification points. Breakfast and lunch are included in the seminar fee.
