Learn how to create a rain garden! Join us for one session or for the whole series. The first class provides enough information to get you started. Field and workshop sessions are offered for those who are ready to install a garden this year and want more in-depth instruction.

Raingarden Field Session:Drainage and Soils

The engineering aspects of creating a raingarden can actually be fun. Join us at a private home to work through a real life situation. We'll analyze the site, determine the drainage area, assess the soil and test for infiltration. Come away prepared to do this in your own yard. Taught by Ryan Johnson, Ramsey Conservation District.
