A Rain Garden for Your Yard Series
Learn how to create a rain garden! Join us for one session or for the whole series. The first class provides enough information to get you started. Field and workshop sessions are offered for those who are ready to install a garden this year and want more in-depth instruction.

Raingarden Design Workshop: Garden Layout & Plant Design
Prerequisite: Raingarden classroom & field session:drainage and soils
Shawn Tracy, Metro Conservation Districtc, will offer landscaping design ideas to inspire you to develop your own plans. Work on your raingardn design with help from instructors and master gardeners, using the information gathered in your own site assessment. Register and prepay by April 22.
Participants need to bring base map of their site and results of soil infiltration test.

From I-94 take Century Ave. exit north, and travel 1 1/4 miles to E. 7th Street. Turn left on E. 7th St. at the Maplewood Nture Center sign.
From I-694 take 10th St. exit, travel west 1 1/4 miles to Century Ave. Turn right on Century Ave. and proceed for one block. Turn left on East 7th Street at Maplewood Nature Center sign.
From Hwy 36 Take Century Ave. South 3.6 miles to E. 7th St. Turn right on E. 7th St. at the Maplewood Nture Center sign.
